Berserker |
Piercing Melee Attack (Normal vs. Buildings), Heavy Armor
The Berserker is a courageous warrior, charging into battle without regard for his own safety. This allows the Berserker to attack with unparalleled frenzy, but also makes him easier to kill.
The Berserker ordinarily deals piercing damage, but has an alternate attack used against structures which deals normal damage, making the Berserker effective at tearing down enemy fortifications.

Berserk Information
This is the Berserker's trademark ability. The additional attack speed can be a great boon in taking down an enemy, and the movement speed increase can be even more helpful, because movement speed is extremely important in Hunted. If you take Berserk to high levels, you will probably want to leave it turned on at all times.Turn off Berserk if several enemy heroes with piercing or magical attacks focus fire on you. A Berserker can die very quickly to focused fire while berserk.
Use Berserk while using Unstoppable Force. The attack speed bonus from Berserk will allow you to make more attacks using the damage bonus from Unstoppable Force, and the magic immunity from Unstoppable Force will override the weakness to magic from Berserk, leaving you weak only against piercing.
Unstoppable
Force Temporarily grants the Berserker bonus damage, 2 bonus armor, and spell immunity. |
|
Unstoppable Force Information
Use this ability to increase your combat effectiveness and guard against magic. The spell immunity from Unstoppable Force is invaluable for protecting the Berserker from disabling spells such as Ensnare, Shadow Strike, and Tremor that can seriously hamper his ability to fight.Use Berserk while using Unstoppable Force. The attack speed bonus from Berserk will allow you to make more attacks using the damage bonus from Unstoppable Force, and the magic immunity from Unstoppable Force will override the weakness to magic from Berserk, leaving you weak only against piercing.
You cannot be healed while using Unstoppable Force, so be careful when you use it. Also, you cannot use Death Walk while you are using Unstoppable Force.
Note that Unstoppable Force can only be taken once every two levels.
Indomitable
Will Automatically removes negative effects from the Berserker. |
|
Indomitable Will Information
When Indomitable Will is turned on, instead of suffering from ailments such as slowing effects, poison, Ensnare, Banish, etc., your mana will automatically be consumed to instantly dispel them. Positive effects such as Regeneration will not be affected.Use Indomitable Will to prevent yourself from being hindered or stopped in your attack, but watch your mana.
Irresistible
Charge Gives the Berserker a boost of speed and lets him move past other units |
|
Irresistible Charge Information
Sometimes, as a melee unit, it is difficult to get in a position where you can deal damage effectively. Irresistible Charge is just the skill to correct this problem, because it will allow you to close within range of your target quickly and without worrying about being blocked by obstacles.Irresistible Charge will allow the Berserker to move past units, wards, Engineer buildings, and even natural obstacles like rocks and trees as if they were not there (he still can't scale cliffs, however).
Use Irresistible Charge to close on opponents in the back rank of the enemy formation or hiding behind obstructions.
Use Irresistible Charge to get past Engineers' barricades or Druids' tree walls.
You can also use Irresistible Charge when you're wounded to escape from battle more quickly.
Irresistible Charge can be combined with other abilities, such as Berserk, Unstoppable Force, or Death Walk. The movement speed bonus from Berserk will stack.
Irresistible Charge will not prevent you from being stunned, slowed, or ensnared. Use Indomitable Will to break out of such hindrances.
Death
Walk Makes the Berserker very hard to kill for a time. When the effect expires, the Berserker dies. |
|
Death Walk Information
The final rite of the Berserker, Death Walk allows him to withstand a terrible onslaught while he finishes his task. When the effect expires, the Berserker dies.Use Death Walk in situations where you would otherwise die to extend your life. Don't wait too long to use it, however, because you can still take some damage.
Try to use Death Walk when a large number of enemies are targeting you, so that you'll be able to draw a large amount of damage away from your allies. It will usually take your enemies some time to switch to another target.
You can still be affected by statuses like slow and ensnare while using Death Walk, so be sure to have Indomitable Will ready to break out of them.
If you have Berserk, be sure to turn it on before you use Death Walk. You're virtually unkillable while using Death Walk, so there's not really any downside to having Berserk turned on.
You cannot use Unstoppable Force and Death Walk at the same time.
Notice that the cooldown and duration on Death Walk are the same, so you can watch the ability's cooldown meter to know how much time you have left.
